    Description

    This oval plaque measures 6 1/2 inches long. On it’s back is “The Pennsylvania Railroad’s famous electric locomotive, the workhorse of World War ll, kicks up fresh snow on an afternoon run to New York City. The rear brakeman of another train waves a hearty holiday hello to the crew of the big red engine. 139 of this great model, designed in 1934, were built and most are still running. Many still operate in passenger service on the Harrisburg, Washington D.C. and New York City route.” As shown in pictures there is a scratch on the left side of the plaque.
